Taiwan has taken a bold step in promoting international health innovation. On June 3, the International Trade Administration (TITA), under the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA), officially launched the “Go Healthy with Taiwan” global call for proposals. The campaign is executed by TAITRA to attract strategic collaborations worldwide.
With a goal of integrating Taiwan’s high-quality health products and systems into global markets, the campaign invites submissions across five key sectors: smart healthcare, medical aesthetics and wellness, fitness and sports technology, and bicycles.
Deputy Director General Susan Hu noted that this campaign aligns with President Lai Ching-te’s vision of “Healthy Taiwan,” serving as a cornerstone in fostering international partnerships in the health industry. TAITRA Executive Vice President Joe Chou highlighted Taiwan’s technological strengths and commitment to global well-being.
The event’s creative theme—modeled as a baseball field—reinforced Taiwan’s proactive international engagement. High-profile appearances by professional baseball player An-Ko Lin and Fu Bear, the Taiwan Excellence mascot, drew significant attention from diplomats, industry leaders, and international media.
The campaign targets over 500 submissions by August 14, 2025, offering cash prizes of US$30,000 for the top three proposals and potential commercialization with leading Taiwanese firms.
